This layout is based on a simple graphic design. The photos are placed in the centre of the layout while the background is decorated with patterned paper. Some of the photos are off-set with circles and decorative elements to add interest, while some of the photos are matted in a bright coloured cardstock.

While the focus is placed on the photos in this layout I wanted to add some interesting details to the layout. The background paper is decorated using small sequins in matching colours. I first adhered the sequins to the background using a small amount of liquid adhesive. Once they were dry I made small holes using my paper piercer and then added the sewing with only two strands of embroidery thread.
Cardstock by Fabscraps & Bazzill Basics. Patterned paper by Webster's Pages & K&Co. Smooch Ink by Clearsnap. Other: Buttons, sequins, staples, stamp, ink & embroidery thread.

To match my journaling I used the left-over piece of patterned paper and printed my journaling directly onto it. This way I repeated my patterned paper from the left side onto the right and had the exact matching colours for my journaling. A few hand sewn stitches in a matching colour were all that was needed to finish off this quick and easy layout. To create an interesting effect onto my stamped circle, I used a golden coloured smooch ink to colour in my background. I used a fine script patterned stamp and stamped the image in a dark brown. To finish it off I used the same pink embroidery thread as the card stock matt and sewed all around the edge to define it.
