Masking

A technique used to get the effect of stamped images behind each other, in front of another, or coming out, or going into one another.

Melting Pot

An electric utensil designed for melting ultra thick embossing enamel (UTEE) which is used for pouring into molds or stamping into. It can also be used for melting bees wax used for collages. Melted UTEE can also easily be transformed into wax seals for invitations.

Mixed Media

The use of several media such as paints, papers, rubber stamps and ink to create a work of art.

Monochromatic Colour Scheme

A single colour (hue) is complemented by its tints and shades.

Monogram

A graphic symbol consisting of two or more alphabet letters combined (usually your initials).

Montage

A work of art incorporating photos into a collage.

Mounting Tab

Available in two formats namely permanent and re-positionable they are perfect for sticking down photos. Ideal for precise positioning of small letters, tags and journaling blocks.

Mylar

A protective clear polyester covering for photos and album pages. This is the highest quality material currently used for this purpose.
